– UK, Kent – Fidelity Emerging Markets Limited (LON: FEML) today announced the appointment of Heather Manners to its Board as an independent non-executive director effective from 5th May 2022, subject to formal shareholder approval at the AGM on 8th December 2022.
Also, the company announced that Helene Ploix will retire from her position as a non-executive director and chairman of the Fund after the 2022 AGM.
It is the intention that Heather will replace Helene as chairman of the Fund.
About Heather Manners
Heather Manners is an award-winning market professional with some 34 years experience of in investment in Asia, most recently, and for the past 15 years as the co-founder, CEO, and CIO of Prusik Investment Management. Heather is also a non-executive director of Montanaro Asset Management and Collider Asset Management respectively and previously was a non-Executive Director of Aberdeen New Dawn. Heather began her career at Henderson Global Investors Limited where, latterly, she was Head of Asia and Emerging Markets.
