Experian announces Mike Rogers to its Board as upcoming Independent Non-Executive Director

– IRELAND, Dublin – Experian plc (LSE:EXPN), the global information services company, announces that Mike Rogers has been appointed as a new independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 July 2017, and as Chairman-designate of the Experian plc Remuneration Committee. Aged 52, and a UK national, Mike was Group Chief Executive Officer of LV= Group from 2006 until 2016, growing it into a significant player in the life and general insurance market. He previously spent 20 years at Barclays plc, where his most recent role was as Managing Director, UK Retail Banking. Mike has been a Non-Executive Director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc since 2016, and was previously a Non-Executive Director of the Association of British Insurers.

In line with emerging best corporate governance practice, and as part of the Board’s ongoing focus on succession, and ensuring the correct balance of skills and experience, Mr Rogers will succeed Roger Davis as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in July 2018.

Roger Davis has notified the Company of his intention to step down as a Director of Experian plc and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in July 2018. He will continue to chair the Board of Experian Limited, the Group’s UK Financial Conduct Authority regulated subsidiary.
