– UK, London – Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC (LON: ERM), the global B2B information services provider, today announced the appointment of Jack Callaway to its Board as an independent non-executive director, effective on 1 March 2022.
“I am pleased to welcome Jack to the Board following a rigorous search process. His considerable executive experience in investment banking, as well as his international outlook and perspective on US and European markets, will further strengthen our Board as well as the Audit & Risk Committee and the Investment Committee. Approximately half of the Group’s revenues are generated from the US and Jack will become the third member of our Board who lives and works in the US.” said Board Chair, Leslie Van de Walle.
Jack Callaway will also join the Audit & Risk Committee and the Investment Committee.
About Jack Callaway
Jack Callaway is a seasoned financial services executive with over 30 years of investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and financing experience. He most recently served as Global Chair of Barclays Telecom, Media and Technology Investment Banking business. During his banking career, he advised on a large number of strategically significant and high-value global TMT transactions during an unprecedented period of consolidation, restructuring, and disruption.
Mr. Callaway began his banking career at Rothschild in 1989 in New York. He later moved in 2000 to Lehman Brothers, where he became its Global Co-Head of Telecom Mergers & Acquisitions. After joining Barclays in 2008, he moved to London and became Global Co-Head of Telecom, Media and Technology Investment Banking. He also serves on the Board of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, a global charity dedicated to finding a cure for Cholangiocarcinoma, a deadly rare form of cancer.
