DP Eurasia nominates Ahmet Ashaboğlu for election to its Board as Independent Director

– NETHERLANDS, Amsterdam –  DP Eurasia (LON: DPEU), the master franchisee of the Domino’s Pizza brand in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, today announced the nomination of Ahmet Ashaboğlu for his election to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director, at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held in September.

“I am very pleased that someone with Ahmet’s Board-level experience has agreed to join the Board of DP Eurasia and recommend that shareholders approve his appointment at our forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting. Should he become approved, the Board will include three Independent Non-Executive Directors. Pending approval, we look forward to welcoming Ahmet onto the Board.” said Board Chairman, Peter Williams. 

Ahmet Ashaboğlu should also join the Audit Committee.

About Ahmet Fadil Ashaboğlu

Ahmet Ashaboğlu began his career as a Research Assistant at MIT in 1994 and held various positions in capital markets within UBS Warburg, New York. After serving as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, New York, Ahmet moved back to Turkey and joined Koc Holding as Finance Group Coordinator in 2003. He was appointed Group CFO in 2006, serving until April 2022.

He is currently a Board director at Mavi, Yapi Kredi Bank, Hepsiburada (NASDAQ), Koc Financial Services, Koc Finansman, and Sirena Marine.

Ahmet Ashaboğlu holds a BSc from Tufts University and a Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in Mechanical Engineering.
