– UK, Bromley – Direct Line Insurance Group plc (LON: DLG) today announced the appointment of Adrian Joseph OBE to its Board of Directors and a member of the Corporate Responsibility Committee, effective from 1 January 2021.

Adrian’s experience in these areas will be extremely valuable in strengthening the Board’s ability to support our executive team in delivering that strategic objective.” said Board Chair, Danuta Gray.
The company also announced that Jane Hanson, independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board Risk Committee will be stepping down from the Board after the next AGM in May 2021.
Danuta Gray added: “I would like to thank Jane for her energetic leadership of the Board Risk Committee, which she has chaired since before DLG was floated on the London Stock Exchange, and for her hard work as a member of the Audit, Investment and Corporate Responsibility Committees. Jane will leave us in May 2021 with the Board’s, and management’s, enormous gratitude and respect.”

Adrian Joseph is Managing Director, Group AI and Data Solutions at BT. Before joining BT, he was a senior partner at EY, Head of the UK Data and Analytics practice for Financial Services and a member of the European Innovation Board. He joined EY after ten years at Google, where his last role was Director, Analytics and Measurement Services, EMEA. Before joining Google, Adrian had some 15 years of experience in the automotive industry and management consultancy.
