Commercial International Bank Egypt appoints Hisham Ezz Al-Arab to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– EGYPT, Giza –  Commercial International Bank Egypt (LON: CBKD) today announced the appointment of Hisham Ezz Al-Arab to its Board as a Non-Executive Director bringing his special expertise approved by the Central Bank of Egypt.

About Hisham Ezz Al-Arab

Mr. Ezz Al-Arab brings a wealth of knowledge in the banking sector at large and CIB in specific as he was at the helm of leading the Bank as Chairman and Managing Director from 2002 until 2020.

International houses recognized Mr. Ezz Al-Arab several times for his contribution to financial services in the Middle East. Mr. Ezz Al-Arab joined CIB in 1998 from Deutsche Bank and previously served with both JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch in postings that took him to Bahrain, New York, and Cairo. He holds a BA in Commerce from Cairo University. In August, Mr. Ezz Al-Arab was appointed Senior Advisor to CBE Governor.
