– UK, London – The City of London Investment Trust plc (LON: CTY) today announced the appointment of Sally Lake to its Board as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 August 2024.
Sally Lake will also join the Audit Committee and the Nominations Committee, to succeed Samantha Wren as Audit Committee Chair at AGM in October 2024.
About Sally Lake
Sally Lake has been Group Finance Director of Beazley plc, the FTSE 100 specialist insurance company, since 2019, but will be stepping down from that role later in 2024. She joined Beazley in 2006 and has wide-ranging experience of financial markets, risk management and the operational challenges facing listed companies. She is a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
