– UK, London – Cake Box Holdings plc (LON: CBOX), UK’s largest retailer of fresh cream celebration cakes, announced the appointment of Andrew Boteler to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 19 February 2025, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in both executive and non-executive roles in the financial sector.
Andrew Boteler will also join the Audit Committee as Chair.

Andrew Boteler is a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair of AIM listed Octopus AIM VCT plc and Senior Independent Director, Chair of the Audit and Remuneration Committees for LungLifeAI Inc. Since 2021, he has been on the Advisory Panel for CEN Group Holdings, a private company helping businesses on their Environmental, Social and Governance journey.
With a strong track record in the development, communication, and execution of various business strategies, Andrew Boteler has a proven ability to deliver shareholder value. As CFO of Gooch & Housego PLC from 2009 to 2019, he oversaw the rapid and profitable growth of the company over the ten years. From 2019 to 2023, he acted as Finance Director on the Board of Riverford Organic Farmers, the largest organic fresh food company in the UK, in which he was responsible for the financial and legal affairs of the company.
