– UK, London – The British Land Company PLC (LON: BLND) today announced the appointment of Loraine Woodhouse to its Board as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 March 2021.

Loraine will chair the Audit Committee from 31 March at which time Preben Prebensen will step down from his role as interim Chair of Audit but remain a member of the Committee.
About Loraine Woodhouse
Loraine has been CFO of Halfords Group plc since 1 November 2018. Before joining Halfords, Loraine spent five years in senior finance roles within the John Lewis Partnership. In 2014 Loraine was appointed Acting Group Finance Director and then, subsequently, Finance Director of Waitrose.
Before that, Loraine was CFO of Hobbs, Finance Director of Capital Shopping Centres Limited, and Finance Director of Costa Coffee Limited. Loraine’s early career included finance and investor relations roles at Kingfisher Plc.
