Blackfinch Spring VCT appoints Dr Reuben Wilcock to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Gloucester –  Blackfinch Spring VCT PLC (LON: BFSP today announced the appointment of Dr Reuben Wilcock to its Board as a non-executive director with effect from 18 September 2020.

The Board also announces that Richard Cook retires as a director of the Company on 18 September 2020.

About Dr Reuben Wilcock

Dr Reuben Wilcock is Head of Ventures at Blackfinch Ventures, has a PhD in electronics and is a multi-award winning entrepreneur with 15 years’ experience founding and growing technology start-ups. His smart home energy spinout, Joulo, won the British Gas Connected Homes award and was later acquired by Quby. He also co-founded the startup Bar Analytics. Reuben was a leading figure in entrepreneurship at the University of Southampton, founding the Future Worlds accelerator where he mentored over 200 entrepreneurs and 50 companies.
