Balfour Beatty announces Gabby Costigan to join its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London –  Balfour Beatty PLC (LON: BBY), the international infrastructure group, today announced the appointment of Gabby Costigan MBE to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 8 March 2024,

Lord Charles Allen of Kensington, CBE and Chair of Balfour Beatty said: “I am delighted that Gabby has agreed to join us. Her experience of large, complex international organisations and significant experience in regulated markets make her a strong addition to Balfour Beatty’s Board.”

Gabby Costigan will also join the Safety & Sustainability Committee as Chair, to succeed Stuart Doughty who will step down from the Board.

About Gabrielle Costigan

Gabby Costigan is an Aeronautical Engineer with a diverse international career including 21 years in the Australian Army. She was previously CEO of the logistics business, Linfox International Group. In 2017, she joined BAE Systems plc as CEO of BAE Systems Australia before being promoted to Group Managing Director, Business Development, and a member of the Executive Committee.
