– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port – Baker Steel Resources Trust Limited (LON: BSRT) announced the appointment of Patrick Meier to its Board as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
About Patrick Meier
Patrick Meier has served as a director of investment companies listed on recognized stock exchanges. He recently stepped down as Chairman of Ecora Resources plc. Ecora Resources is the leading royalty and streaming business listed on the London Stock Exchange, with investments in a wide range of projects focused on forward-looking commodities such as copper, nickel, cobalt, and vanadium. He was instrumental in leading Ecora’s growth and transformation.
Patrick Meier also acted as Chairman of Firestone Diamonds plc, which was traded on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
Patrick Meier has over 30 years of experience in investment banking with specialist knowledge of the mining sector. He headed up the investment banking activities for RBC Capital Markets in Europe and Asia and drove a major expansion of RBC’s European presence. Before this role, he headed up RBC’s activities in the Metals and Mining sector in Europe, Africa, and Asia for many years, and continues to enjoy strong relationships within the sector.
Patrick Meier also served as a Director on the Board of RBC’s main operating subsidiary in Europe.
