Baker Steel Resources Trust appoints John Falla to its Board as Independent Director

– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port –  Baker Steel Resources Trust Limited (LON: BSRT) today announced the appointment of John Falla to its Board as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

About John Martyn Falla

Mr. Falla, a resident of Guernsey, is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, has a degree in Property Valuation and Management from City University, London, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, holding their diploma.

Mr. Falla qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young in London, before transferring to its Corporate Finance Department, specializing in the valuation of unquoted shares and securities. On his return to Guernsey in 1996 he worked for an international bank before joining The International Stock Exchange on its launch in 1998 as a member of the Market Authority.

In 2000, Mr. Falla joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group, providing corporate finance advice to international clients including open and closed-ended funds, and institutions with significant property interests. He was a director of several Edmond de Rothschild operating and investment entities, retiring in 2015.

Mr. Falla has been a non-executive director of London-listed companies for over 10 years and is an experienced audit committee chair. He is currently a director and audit committee chair o NB Private Equity Partners Limited and Marble Point Loan Financing Limited.
