Babcock International Group announces Jeff Randall as Independent Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Babcock, the UK’s leading engineering support services company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Randall as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 April 2014.  He will also serve as a member of the Remuneration, Nominations and Audit & Risk Committees of the Board.

Jeff Randall is a journalist and broadcaster.  He is currently a presenter for Sky News, a position from which he will be stepping down on 31 March 2014 and is also editor-at-large of The Daily Telegraph, but will cease writing for that newspaper on 31 December 2013.  Jeff was business editor of the BBC between 2001 and 2005, the launch editor of Sunday Business and, for six years, was City Editor of the Sunday Times.  He is a former director of Times Newspapers. Jeff is also a Visiting Fellow of Oxford University’s Said Business School where he specialises in corporate reputation, and is an honorary professor at Nottingham University’s business school.
