– UK, London – Associated British Foods plc (LON: ABF) today announced the appointment of Kumsal Bayazit to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 1st December 2023.
Kumsal Bayazit will join the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
About Kumsal Bayazit
Kumsal Bayazitc is CEO of Elsevier, having joined Elsevier’s parent company, RELX PLC, in 2019. Since 2004, Kumsal has held multiple management positions, including as CSO at RELX and, until 2023, as Chair of the RELX Technology Forum, responsible for technology, risk management, and cyber security strategy across the RELX Group. Before joining RELX, Kumsal spent several years at Bain & Company in its New York, Los Angeles, Johannesburg, and Sydney offices. Kumsal also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Preqin.
