– UK, Bolton – AO World plc (LON: AO) today announced the appointment of Peter Pritchard to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 October 2022.
“We are delighted to welcome Peter as a Non-Executive Director. We set out to appoint an individual with suitable experience to continue to develop the Board’s skill set and Peter brings with him a strong mix of knowledge of consumer-focused businesses, as well as experience in transforming businesses,” said Board Chairman, Geoff Cooper.
Peter Pritchard will also join the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Peter Pritchard was until recently CEO at Pets at Home plc, leading its transformation into the UK’s largest and fastest growing pet care provider. He has over 35 years of consumer and broad operational experience, having worked for many of the UK’s best-known retail brands, including Wilkinson Stores Limited, Asda/Walmart stores Inc, J Sainsbury plc, and M&S plc. He also holds a non-executive position at Motability Operations Group plc.
