– UK, Altrincham – Angelfish Investments Plc (NEX:ANGP), today announced that Kenneth (Ken) James Gribben Hillen has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Richard Walker has agreed to move from his current role as non-executive director to become an executive director of the Company. Andrew Flitcroft who has been involved in the Company since its admission to NEX (then PLUS Markets) in 2008 is resigning as a director of the Company to concentrate on other business opportunities.
Richard Walker commented: ‘The Board would like to express our thanks to Andrew for his contribution to the Company over the last ten years and wish him well in his future business activities. Ken’s experience and expertise will be invaluable as the Company continues to pursue its investing policy.’
About Ken Hillen
Ken began his career in 1977 with Royal Bank of Scotland and went on to hold a number of senior banking roles throughout his career including senior corporate director at RBS, managing director for Scotland and Northern Ireland at Anglo Irish Bank and, until 2009, head of commercial and corporate banking for Scotland at Bank of Ireland.
Ken has broad experience of non-executive and consultancy roles within financial services and other sectors, including director and chairman of a financial services business which specialises in the provision of bridging loans.
Ken is currently a non-executive director of SQN Secured Income Fund plc, an investment company listed on the Main Market of the LSE and of Salutem Healthcare Limited, a private equity backed provider of specialist healthcare. It is intended that his appointment will strengthen the board with his considerable experience in banking and finance.
