– UK, Cumbernauld – A.G. BARR p.l.c. (LON: BAG), a multi-beverage business with a portfolio of market-leading UK brands, today announced the appointment of Julie Barr to its Board as a Non-Executive Director, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM in May 2023.
Julie, who has been with the Company for 19 years and is a qualified corporate lawyer, will relinquish her Company Secretarial duties.
Concurrently, Robin Barr will not seek re-election at the upcoming AGM.
“We are hugely indebted to Robin for all his years of service, not to mention the balanced and insightful guidance he has provided to the Board as the business has developed across the last 60 years or so.
