– UK, Edinburgh – abrdn Equity Income Trust plc (LON: CHI) today announced the appointment of Nick Timberlake as an independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Nick Timberlake will also join the Audit and Remuneration and Management Engagement Committees.

Nick Timberlake has over thirty years’ experience in the asset management industry as a Portfolio Manager, he was with HSBC Global Asset Management between 2005 and 2020, initially as Global Head of Emerging Markets Equities and then Head of Equities. Previously he was a Director of F&C Investment Management and has spent the last 30 years investing in equities. He is a partner in Panorama Property Investments LLP and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of the UK.
