About Tom Osterwalder
Tom Osterwalder is a business economist who has been working for Zurich for more than 20 years and has been instrumental in developing ZIAG into a major financial market participant in the Swiss asset management market.
Tom Osterwalder joined Zurich in 2002 after an international career at Novartis and was CIO from 2006 to 2020 and Deputy CEO of ZIAG since 2012. He has led the Institutional Business division since 2021. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the institutional business.
Tom Osterwalder has in-depth knowledge of the financial industry, holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich,, and complete, ands well as the Executive Program at IMD in Lausanne.
