– USA, NY – WisdomTree, Inc. (NYSE: WT), a global financial innovator, announced the appointment of Smita Conjeevaram as Chair of the Board of Directors, effective January 23, 2025, succeeding Win Neuger, who will remain on the Board.

About Smita Conjeevaram
Smita Conjeevaram retired in 2013 after a 19-year career in the global investment and hedge fund industry. Her most recent position was as CFO – Credit Hedge Funds and Deputy CFO – Credit Funds for Fortress Investment Group LLC, a global investment firm, where she served from 2010 to 2013. Before that, she served as CFO of Everquest Financial LLC, a specialty finance company, from 2006 to 2009, and Strategic Value Partners LLC, a leading global investment firm, from 2004 to 2005.
Smita Conjeevaram began her career as a tax specialist at two Big-4 public accounting firms and is a Certified Public Accountant. In January 2021, she joined the Board of Directors of McGrath RentCorp (NASDAQ: MGRC), a diversified business-to-business rental company, and SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), an aircraft leasing company. She also has served as a director of SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSNC), an investment and financial management software and service provider for the global financial services industry, since November 2015.

Smita Conjeevaram received her B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Butler University and a B.A. in Economics from Ethiraj College, Madras, India.
