– UK, West Bromwich – West Brom Building Society (LON: WBS) announced the appointment of current Chair of the Risk Committee David Thomas to the roles of Deputy-Chair and Senior Independent Director, while Lynne Atkin has joined the Board of Directors as Chair of the Remuneration and People Committee.
Lynne Atkin brings with her extensive experience in senior leadership roles across the financial services sector, having previously served as Human Resources Director at Barclays Bank UK. She is currently a Trustee of Action for Children.
Additionally, the company also announced that Julie Hopes will step down from the Board at the end of May, and that Lynne Shamwana will step down from the Board following the AGM on 23rd July. Concurrently, Russell Galley has resigned with immediate effect.
