Vetoquinol group appoints Jean-Yves Ravinet as Group COO

– FRANCE – The Vétoquinol Group (Paris:VETO) announces the appointment of Jean-Yves Ravinet as Group Chief Operating Officer.

Jean-Yves Ravinet, 56, graduated from Paris-Grignon Institut National Agronomique, was previously Head of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for the crop protection business of the Japanese Sumitomo Chemical Group.

Jean-Yves Ravinet started his career at Rhône-Poulenc Agro in France. He successively managed several European subsidiaries (Turkey, Benelux/Scandinavia, Spain) and then the Asia-Pacific region. When Aventis Crop Science was created, he led the Latin America operations. He later was in charge of synthesis intermediates for agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals at Rhodia Life Science Systems.

His knowledge of agriculture and of regulated industries, a long practice of launches and product life cycle management and a robust experience of international development will be valuable assets for the Vétoquinol Group.

Jean-Yves Ravinet is based in the Lure Headquarter of the Group.
