– UK, Warrington – United Utilities Group PLC (LON: UU) today announced the appointment of Kath Cates to its Board as a non-executive director effective from 1 September 2020.
On appointment, Kath will become a member of the Company’s Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Her career working in a regulated environment in financial services will provide the board with additional perspective on regulatory matters. Her experience serving as a non-executive director and as a chair of the remuneration, audit and risk committees in her other roles will contribute to board governance and risk management at United Utilities.” said Board Chairman, Sir David Higgins.
Kath will also be appointed as a non-executive director of United Utilities Water Limited with effect from 1 September 2020. Kath also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of RSA Insurance Group plc and Brewin Dolphin Holdings plc.
United Utilities Group’s ordinary shares trade on the London Stock Exchange and its ADRs, each equal to two ordinary shares, trade over the counter under the Trading Symbol “UUGRY”.
