Triple Point Venture VCT appoints Sam Smith to its Board as Senior Independent Director and announces Jamie Brooke as next Non-Executive Chair.

– UK, London –  Triple Point Venture VCT plc (LON: TPV) announced the appointment of Sam Smith to its Board as an Independent Non-executive Director and Senior Independent Director, with immediate effect. The company also announced the appointment of current Non-Executive Director Jamie Brooke as Non-Executive Chair following the AGM in July 2024, to succeed Jane Owen who will step down from the Board at the AGM.

Jane Owen, curent Board Chair said: “I am delighted that Jamie Brooke will be my successor as Chair and that Sam Smith will be joining the Board. I believe that Sam’s background, skills, and enthusiasm will serve the Company and shareholders well for what, I trust, will be an exciting future for the Company.”

Sam Smith has also joined the Audit Committee.
