– UK, Northampton – Travis Perkins plc (LON: TPK) today announced the appointment of Jez Maiden to its Board as a Non-Executive and Senior Independent Director effective from 1 June 2023, to succeed Pete Redfern who will step down from the Board at the AGM on 19 September 2023.

About Jez Maiden
Jez Maiden brings to the Board over forty years of business, leadership, and corporate experience spanning diverse sectors, including household FMCG, management consultancy, food manufacturing, transport, and chemicals.
A qualified accountant, Jez Maiden has extensive operational finance and comprehensive corporate finance experience. He has held several Executive Director CFO positions, latterly as Group Finance Director for Croda International Plc from whose board he stepped down on 26 April 2023 before retiring from Croda on 31 May 2023.
He has previously served as a Non-executive Director, Audit & Risk Committee Chair, and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees at PZ Cussons plc and as a Non-executive Director at Synthomer plc, where he was Senior Independent Director and chaired the Audit Committee. He is currently a Non-executive Director and member of the Audit Committee at Intertek Group plc.
