TransContainer appoints Victor Markov to its Board of Directors as CEO

– RUSSIA, Moscow –  PJSC TransContainer (LON: TRCN | MOEX: TRCN) today announced that, on 14 February 2020, its Board of Directors decides to terminate authorities of Vyacheslav Saraev as CEO and to appoint Victor Markov as the new CEO.

Mr. Markov assumed his role as CEO and joined the Company’s Board of Directors on 15 February 2020.

About Victor Markov

Victor Markov has been serving as Deputy General Director – Director for Legal Issues, Member of the Executive Board of PJSC TransContainer since June 2006. Prior to that, between 2003 and 2006, he held the position of First Deputy Head of the Legal Directorate of OJSC Russian Railways. Mr. Markov has worked in the Russian Ministry of Railway Transport for over eight years. From 1995 to 2000, Victor worked in the Department of Legal Due Diligence and Preparation of Legal Acts of the Legal Administration. In 2000, he served as Head of the Department of Legal Support for Relations with the Federal Assembly and Reforms of the railway transportation of the Legal Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Railway Transport. From 2002 to 2003, he was Deputy Head of the Legal Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Railway Transport, Head of the Department of Legal Support for Relations with the Federal Assembly and Reforms of the railway transportation. Mr. Markov graduated from the Gubkin State Academy of Oil and Gas with a Law degree in 1998.
