– UK, London – The Income & Growth VCT plc (LON: IGV) today announced the appointment of current Independent Director, Maurice Helfgott to the role of Chairman of the Board with effect from 1 July 2020, in accordance with the Board succession plan.
Maurice has extensive experience as a Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director with a proven track record in entrepreneurial, growth and established businesses across a wide range of companies. The Board welcomes Maurice’s depth of knowledge and wide-ranging experience as he commences his tenure as Chairman
The Company also announced that Jonathan Cartwright stepped down from his role as Chairman of the Board and as a Director of the Company on 30 June 2020.
The Board wishes to express its gratitude for the significant contribution that Jonathan has made to the Company as a Director over the last ten years, particularly in his role as chairman of the Audit Committee and then the role of Chairman of the Board over the last eight months.
