– CYPRUS, Paphos – Tharisa PLC (LON: THS) today announced the appointment of Ms Vaneese Chu to its Board of Directors as a non-executive director and a member of the Risk Committee, effective from 17 September 2020.
Ms Vaneese Wing Yee Chu is a Chinese national who represents NWS Holdings Limited, a company whose shares are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and a subsidiary of which holds 15.21% of Tharisa’s issued share capital with voting rights as at 31 August 2020.
The Board welcomes Ms Chu and looks forward to her contribution.
The company also announced that Ms Julia Zhengzhi Hu has resigned as a non-executive director and member of the Risk Committee with effect 17 September 2020.
The Board extends its appreciation to Ms Hu for her commitment and service to the Company.

Ms Chu holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, New York, USA. She has more than 10 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, investments and management. She is a Senior Manager of NWS Infrastructure Management Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NWS. Before joining the NWS group, she worked at KPMG Corporate Finance Limited.
