– USA, NJ – Summit Health today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Alter as the new CEO effective October 4, succeeding Dr. Jeffrey Le Benger as CEO who will assume a new position as Executive Chairman to the management board.

About Jeffrey Alter
Mr. Alter brings a tremendous depth of health care industry experience. He was most recently Executive Vice President of Anthem Health Solutions and President of IngenioRx, Anthem’s pharmacy business. Prior to Anthem he was the Founder and President of Arcturus One Consulting. Earlier, Mr. Alter served as the CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s Commercial Group and in other leadership positions during his 15-year tenure at UnitedHealthcare. In addition, Mr. Alter has served on the board of CityMD since 2017, and is a current board member for Summit Health, Anomaly, St. John’s University, Progenity, and the Long Island Association.
