STV Group announces Christian Woolfenden and Anne Marie Cannon to Board of Directors

– UK, Glasgow – STV Group plc announces the appointment of two new non-executive directors to the board of the company.  The first of these appointments, Christian Woolfenden, will join the board from 1 June 2014 and Anne Marie Cannon will join the board on 1 November 2014.

Christian Woolfenden has extensive consumer marketing and digital experience.  He is part of the executive team of Paddy Power as Global Marketing Director and has previously held global marketing and brand roles with Bacardi and Proctor & Gamble.  Christian will replace Vasa Babic who retired as a non-executive director in April, having served on the board since February 2007.

Anne Marie Cannon has over 30 years experience in the energy industry and investment banking. For the past 14 years Anne Marie was a senior advisor at Morgan Stanley specialising in international upstream mergers and acquisitions. Anne Marie has previously held financial and commercial roles with Shell UK, J Henry Schroder Wagg and Thomson North Sea and was an executive director on the boards of Hardy Oil and Gas and British Borneo. She served on the board of Aker ASA and is currently is a non-executive director with Premier Oil and Deputy Chair of Det Norske Oljeselskap.
