SSP Group announces Apurvi Sheth and Kelly Kuhn to its Board as Independent Directors

– UK, London –  SSP Group plc (LON: SSPG), a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, today announced the appointments of Apurvi Sheth and Kelly Kuhn to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Directors, effective from 1 January 2022.

With their experience working in the food and beverage and travel sectors, respectively, and extensive global expertise, they will bring additional breadth and diversity of backgrounds and experiences and add huge value to the Board,” commented Board Chair, Mike Clasper.

Apurvi will join the Remuneration Committee while Kelly will join the Audit Committee. Both will serve on the Nomination Committee.

Apurvi has extensive executive experience across numerous well-known international food and beverage companies such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and most recently, as MD of Diageo plc in Southeast Asia. Apurvi will bring to the Board her deep knowledge of the region and emerging markets having held numerous positions in general management, marketing, franchising, and strategy across the region.

About Kelly Kuhn

Kelly brings substantial international business experience from her previous executive roles within the travel sector and combines broad commercial skills with a strong consumer focus. Most recently, Kelly was EVP and Chief Customer Officer of CWT (formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel), a travel management company operating across six continents. Kelly is currently a Non-Executive Director and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees of ISS A/S, a facility management services company, listed on the Danish Stock Exchange.
