Corp., a leading global provider of fine chemicals, laboratory equipment and supplies, today announced the appointment of current COO Russell Kneipp as President and CEO, effective immediately, succeeding Randy Burg who has been named Co-Chairman with founder Paul Burg. Randy Burg is expected to transition to Chairman in June 2023.

Since 2018, Kneipp has served as COO for Spectrum Chemical, where he instituted lean methodology and other process improvement initiatives to scale the organization and drive revenue growth and greater profitability.

Kneipp’s career includes multiple leadership positions with global Fortune 500 and private companies across diverse industries including chemicals, industrial manufacturing, automotive, aerospace and medical devices. This includes senior roles with Honeywell International Inc., Royal Truck Body, Industrial Parts Depot LLC and Storm Manufacturing Group. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from American University.
