– UK, Egham – Spectris plc (LON: SXS), the expert in providing insight through precision measurement, today announced the appointment of Nick Anderson to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 1 June 2024, to bring a wealth of international and broader industrial and end-market experience.

Nick Anderson will also join the Nomination and Governance Committee.
About Nick Anderson
Nick Anderson recently retired from the FTSE 100 industrial engineering company Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, after ten years as Chief Executive. During his tenure, he oversaw sales and profits growth by over 2.5 times and the quadrupling of the company’s market capitalization.
Before joining Spirax-Sarco Engineering in 2011, Nick Anderson was VP of John Crane Asia Pacific based in Singapore, and President of John Crane Latin America, based in the US. Previously, he held senior management roles with Alcoa Aluminio in Argentina and Brazil.
Nick Anderson is currently a Non-executive Director of BAE Systems plc.
