SoftBank Group strengthens its Corporate Governance

– JAPAN, Tokyo –  SoftBank Group Corp. SoftBank announced in June 2020, the appointments of two new External Board Directors, as well as the formation of a Nominating & Compensation Committee.

“On behalf of our shareholders and the Board, I want to express my deep appreciation to Marcelo, Sago-san, Rajeev and Yasir for their dedication and their service on the Board,” said Masayoshi Son. “The changes to our Board build upon the enhancements we made in June, including ensuring we have a greater proportion of External Board Directors, and further highlight SoftBank’s commitment to corporate governance.”
