Severn Trent announces Nick Hampton to join its Board as Non-Executive Director and next Senior Independent Director

– UK, Coventry –  Severn Trent Plc (LON: SVT) announced the appointment of Nick Hampton to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 4 April 2025, to succeed Kevin Beeston as Senior Independent Director on 1 May 2025 when she retires from the Board.

Nick Hampton will also join the Audit and Risk, Nominations, Remuneration, and Treasury Committees., as well as the Board of Severn Trent Water Limited.

About Nicholas Hampton

Nick Hampton is CEO of Tate & Lyle Plc, a position to which he was appointed in 2018 having served as CFO since 2014. Before joining Tate & Lyle Plc, he held several senior financial, commercial, and operational roles at PepsiCo Inc., covering the UK and Ireland, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Nick Hampton brings to the Board extensive experience in general management, finance, investor relations, strategy and M&A, information systems, and procurement. He has significant Non-Executive experience and he is currently Senior Independent Director of Great Portland Estates Plc, where he has served on the Board since October 2016.
