– UK, London – Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust Limited (LON: SREI) today announced the appointment of Sanjay Patel to its Board as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 January 2024.
“I am delighted to welcome Sanjay to the Board, who has extensive finance and accounting experience at a diverse range of real estate and related businesses. I fully expect Sanjay to build on Stephen’s excellent stewardship in this role since his appointment in 2015.” said Board Chairman, Alastair Hughes.
Mr Patel will also join the audit, management engagement, and nomination committees.
About Sanjay Patel
Sanjay Patel is a Chartered Accountant and is currently CFO and a Board member of Cadogan Group Limited, a large private real estate investment company. Before this role, Mr Patel served as Group Finance Director on the Board of Strutt & Parker LLP. Mr Patel is also a Member of the Audit and Risk Committee at London & Quadrant Housing Association.
