– ISRAEL, Yokneam – Saguna Networks, a Mobile Edge Computing pioneer making mobile broadband faster, simpler and more economical, announced today that wireless industry veteran Dr. Niel Ransom, a former Worldwide CTO of Alcatel, has joined the company’s Board of Directors as Chairman of the board.

Dr. Ransom brings over 35 years of experience and expertise in the telecommunications industry. He is currently President & CEO of Ransomshire Associates, an advisory firm he founded in 2005. He has held several executive-level roles at Alcatel and BellSouth including Worldwide CTO of Alcatel and member of its Executive Committee. Dr. Ransom also serves on the boards of directors of Radisys (NASDAX: RSYS), Cyan Inc. (NYSE: CTNI), MultiPhy, and Polatis.
