– UK, Chalfont St Peter – RWS Holdings plc (AIM:RWS), one of the world’s leading language, intellectual property support services and localisation providers, today announces the appointment of Tomas Kratochvil as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 28 March 2018.
Most recently, Tomas was the Chief Executive Officer of Moravia, which was acquired by RWS in October 2017. Tomas joined Moravia in 1996 and served as the company’s Managing Director, responsible for operations, sales and marketing, before becoming its CEO in 2010. During his eight years as CEO, Tomas led the company to become a premier provider of globalisation services.
In January 2018, Paul Danter, formerly EVP, Business Development & Client Services, was appointed as CEO of Moravia. Paul joined Moravia in 2016 with over 17 years of experience in software sales, marketing and product management including in executive level positions at MobileIQ and Argogroup. Following an initial handover period, Tomas’ ongoing role on the Board of Directors of Moravia IT and as a Non-Executive Director will continue to support a smooth transition of roles.
Tomas will be a member of RWS’s Remuneration Committee.
