Rentokil Initial announces Sally Johnson to join its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Camberley –  Rentokil Initial plc (LON: RTO | FTSE: RTO) today announced the appointment of Sally Johnson to its Board as a Non-Executive Director effective from 1 April 2023, bringing substantial commercial and strategic finance experience from her extensive executive career.

Sally Johnson will also join the Nomination Committee and Audit Committee.

The company also announced that Julie Southern will retire from the Board at the next AGM. Concurrently, Sally Johnson will succeed Julie as Chair of the Audit Committee from this date.

Sally Johnson is CFO of the FTSE 100 company Pearson plc, which is also listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Since joining Pearson in 2000, she has held various finance and operations roles across The Penguin Group, the education business, and at a corporate level at Pearson. She was also a Trustee for the Pearson Pension Plan from 2012 to 2018.

Sally is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and completed her training at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
