– USA, TX – Rackspace Technology (NASDAQ: RXT), a leading end-to-end hybrid, multi-cloud, and AI technology solutions company, announced the appointment of current Board member Jeff Benjamin as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding will succeed David Sambur who stepped down from the Board after nine years of dedicated service.
The company also announced the appointment of Vikram Mahidhar to its Board of Directors, replacing Susan Arthur who stepped down from the Board.

Jeff Benjamin has been on the Rackspace Board since 2016 chairs the Audit Committee, and has over 25 years of experience in investment management. He has served on the boards of American Airlines Group and Caesars Entertainment Company, among others. He has also served on the board of Involta for 10 years before its sale to Carlyle in 2022.
About Vikram Mahidhar
Vikram Mahidhar has led the digital, data, and artificial intelligence team at Apollo Global Management as an Operating Partner within the Apollo Portfolio Performance Solutions group since 2021. He also co-leads Apollo’s Artificial Intelligence strategy. Before joining Apollo, Vikram Mahidhar was SVP at Genpact leading the global digital transformation business across industry verticals, including building the artificial intelligence business at RAGE frameworks before its acquisition by Genpact. Before Genpact, he served in various leadership roles with Deloitte in strategy and innovation.
Vikram Mahidhar has been recognized by Data IQ as 2023 Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Data and he received the AI100 Award by MachineCon in 2023. He also serves on the board of Cengage Group.
