Dr. Rhonda Anderson is currently president of the American Nurse Credentialing Center, which includes the Magnet Recognition Program for excellence in healthcare; a principal at RMA Consulting; and serves as a surveyor for Global Healthcare Accreditation. Dr. Rhonda Anderson previously served as CEO of Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz., a Banner Health hospital. She also served as a JCAHO commissioner for nine years and on the American Hospital Association board of trustees for three years. Anderson is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a member of the AHA’s Committee of Performance Improvement and ACHE’s Programs, Products and Services Committee. She sits on multiple editorial boards, has published extensively, and has received several awards for her service to the nursing and business community including the American Organization of Nurse Leader’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
