– USA, TX – Principal Solar, Inc. (“PSI”; OTC Pink:PSWW) a publicly traded solar power company that is building a utility-scale operation, today announced the appointment of Garrett Boone, co-founder of The Container Store and a leading environmentalist, to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Boone co-founded The Container Store in 1978, and remains chairman emeritus of the Company. He is also chairman of the Board of TreeHouse Inc., a retail concept that provides sustainable, energy efficient solutions for the home. He was inducted into the Retailing Hall of Fame in 2006.
Mr. Boone is also the co-founder of Texas Business for Clean Air, the 2010 recipient of the CATEE Outstanding Nonprofit Organization of the Year. He sits on the Boards of the North Texas Commission Clean Air Task Force and the Trinity Trust, and holds degrees from Rice University and the University of Texas at Austin.
