– USA, NC – Plant Health Care PLC (LON: PHC), a leading provider of novel patent-protected biological products to global agriculture markets, today announced the appointment of current COO, Jeff Tweedy as new CEO effective on June 22nd, 2022, succeeding Chris Richards who will step into Non-Executive Chairman role.
Concurrently, current Non-Executive Chairman, Richard Webb will step down from the Board.

Chris Richards stepped in as CEO in November 2017, having previously been Chairman since August 2012. By appointing Chris to the role of Non-Executive Chairman, the Company continues to benefit from his deep experience. At the same time, Richard Webb, currently Non-Executive Chairman, will step down from the Board to pursue other interests.

Jeff Tweedy joined Plant Health Care in October 2017 as Commercial Head for North America, then promoted to Global Head of Commercial in 2020. He was then appointed COO of Plant Health Care and a member of the Board of Directors in November 2019. Jeff has progressively taken on more responsibilities and discharged them with great success. Over the last 18 months, he has led most of the day-to-day operations of the Company. Under Jeff’s leadership, the Company has delivered robust financial performance and successfully brought forward the exceptionally promising PREtec product pipeline.
