– FRANCE, Paris – Picard Surgelés, the frozen food group today announced the appointment of Cathy Collart Geiger as Executive President to replace Philippe Pauze who had already served as CEO from 2009 to 2015 before he retired, and came back temporarily to replace his successor Philippe Dailliez.
“Cathy Collart Geiger has spent her entire career in distribution and has acquired extensive experience in France and internationally. It will thus be able to provide the group with the benefit of its solid skills to accelerate the development of Picard and its network, both in France and internationally, and to continue the group’s digital transformation”, stated the press release.
At the end of January, the French family group Zouari became Picard’s second-largest shareholder, alongside Lion Capital LLP, the majority shareholder, after buying out the shares of the Swiss group Aryzta, which was seeking to withdraw.
