Persimmon appoints Paula Bell to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, York –  Persimmon Plc (LON: PSN) announced the appointment of Paula Bell to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2024.

“It is my pleasure to welcome Paula to the Board of Persimmon. Paula’s extensive commercial and operational experience in finance leadership roles at large UK listed firms, combined with significant Audit and Risk Chair experience, make her an excellent addition to the Board,” said Board Chairman, Roger Devlin.

Paula Bell will join the Audit & Risk Committee as Chair on 1 October 2024.

About Paula Bell

Paula Bell has extensive board experience both as an Executive and Non-Executive Director of large UK publicly listed organizations. Since 2016, she has held the position of CFOO of Spirent Communications Plc, where shareholders recently approved a recommended offer from a strategic buyer. Paula Bell has been a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Keller Group Plc since 2018 and was previously a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Laird Plc from 2013 to 2018.

Before Spirent, Paula Bell was CFO at John Menzies Plc and Group Financial Director at Ricardo Plc, as well as holding senior finance roles at BAA Plc, AWG Plc, and Rolls Royce Group Plc. Paula has wide sector experience including construction, property, and manufacturing environments.
