Pennon Group announces David Sproul to join its Board as Non-Executive Director and Chair-designate

– UK, Exeter –  Pennon Group plc (LON: PNN) today announced the appointment of David Sproul to its Board as a Non-Executive Director and Chair-designate, effective on 1 July 2024, to succeed Gill Rider as Chair when retiring after the AGM on 24 July 2024.

About David Sproul

DaviDavid Sprould is a Chartered Accountant who has spent most of his career in professional services at Deloitte including Global Deputy CEO from 2019 to 2021. In late 2021 David became Chair of Starling Bank Ltd; the UK’s leading digital bank. He also serves as a non-executive director at Safanad Limited, a privately held asset manager, and is a senior adviser to Bridgepoint Europe. He also sits on the Board of Governors as Chair designate of the University of Hertfordshire.
