– CANADA, Langley – Pathfinder Ventures Inc. (TSX: RV) today announced the appointment of Cathy Butler to its board of directors.
About Cathy Butler
Cathy Butler is Co-founder of Black Sheep Ventures, which owns and operates four self-storage facilities and two Recreational Vehicle resorts throughout BC and Alberta. Cathy has acquired land and developed & used storage and RV facilities in her career, including a $34 million storage portfolio that was sold to Real Storage. This 9-acre greenfield storage development was sold to Storage Vault, a 5-acre greenfield development that was sold to Real Storage (now Storage Vault), and a storage site in Alberta that she sold to StorageMart.
Cathy Butler is also the co-founder of Beltline Brownstones Inc., which owns & operates multi-family properties. Earlier in her career, Cathy co-founded Natural Borders Reforestation, which grew to merge with New Forest Contractors, later acquired by Fairfax Financial. Cathy has been registered as an Alberta Securities Commission portfolio manager and has held private equity research analyst and business development positions with The Blackstone Group, Avenir Capital, and Wilmington Capital.
