PartnerRe welcomes Hermann Pohlchristoph to its Board as Independent Director

– BERMUDA, Pembroke –  PartnerRe Ltd. (NYSE: PRE), today announced the appointment of Hermann Pohlchristoph to its Board of Directors, effective February 4, 2021, bringing the board to five directors of which three will be independent.

Mr. Pohlchristoph has held multiple executive roles, most recently at Munich Re as a Member of the Board of Management from 2017 to 2020 and as CFO Reinsurance, Munich Re from 2006 to 2017. Before that, he served as Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting, Munich Re for two years.
