– MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur – Orient Telecoms plc (LON: ORNT) today announced the appointment of Kirubarharan Ponniah to its Board of Directors with immediate effect.
About Kirubarharan Ponniah
Mr. Ponniah has over 35 years of experience in Finance, Human Resources, and corporate and personal taxation. He has held the position of finance, Human Resource and Admin Director, CFO as well as tax director in various financial organizations.
He has also experience as a lecturer for accounting and tax subjects for ACCA and certified accounting technician programs carried out by a local private college as well as finance and management subjects for degree programs carried out by a local college in collaboration with the University of Wales, Malaysia
He is a qualified chartered certified accountant a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a qualified corporate secretary, and holds an MBA in finance from the University of Wales UK.
